For the Survey Operations & Analytics (SOA) team at BCG, we are looking for excellent applicants that have experience and passion. This team is a crucial component of BCG's strategy to provide clients with greater value and long-lasting effect. It is a part of the Knowledge Practice Area.

SOA specializes in assisting BCG case teams with client initiatives that involve gathering primary data (surveys). The team is equipped to interact with both BCG case teams and outside service partners across all components of the primary research value chain. The use of sophisticated analytics to analyze survey data is given particular focus in order to produce crucial outputs that lead to important findings.

You'll be a part of a highly creative team with an entrepreneurial attitude at SOA. You will be engaged in a very active and quick-paced environment while working directly with BCG's core consultancy business. In addition to bringing your own distinctive skills and abilities to the table, you will be expected to take advantage of opportunities for formal and on-the-job training to learn new things and advance your knowledge.

Team player who can work well with partners, third-party providers, and survey programmers to implement online surveys and collect data.
Ability to engage in quality evaluation of online surveys before they are launched, as well as data handling and administration skills that allow data to be validated and cleaned before being processed further
application of theoretical principles in statistics (using univariate, bivariate, and multivariate approaches) and solid statistical expertise. able to pick up and use specialist survey data analysis tools rapidly in order to produce useful data analytics results (e.g., SPSS, Sawtooth, etc.)
powerful data interpretation skills. To translate and process survey data and to create formula/macro driven models and simulators, learn Alteryx and advanced Excel.
a talent for visualizing the results of analysis. Learn how to portray analytics output using visualization tools like PowerPoint, Tableau, and Market Sight, and practice using them.
working with virtual, multicultural, international teams that require interaction across time zones
dealing with uncertainty and ad hoc scenarios while working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
juggling multiple tasks, such as developing relationships, networking, and informal business
