What is the exact job summary?

Conduct both just-in-time and planned independent audits of the global Morningstar Equity databases, which include fundamental, operating metrics, segments, corporate actions, price & reference data, and others. Members must have a high level of accounting and financial expertise to carry out the audit activities effectively.

Participate actively in the equity data audit sprint, from planning to reporting. Based on the requirements, determine the project's scope and timeline. Then, commit to sticking to the schedule. Write an audit report and give the data operations team and senior leaders a presentation of the findings.

Assign the expected samples for the various audit projects, and finish them by the deadline.

During the audit process, identify and analyze data quality problems and fault causes. To achieve agreement on the errors found, effectively communicate with the operations team.

Maintain effective communication with equity data operations teams to understand project requirement, audit framework and principles.

Retrospect and look for continuous process improvement ideas.
